Leny.A Preview!

Hi girls! I've been gone for some time and have unfortunately neglected the blog. I have been busy and overwhelmed with Leny.A. Here are some pieces of the collection so you can see what I've been so busy doing. I hope to be back blogging more often. Feel free to contact me at info@shoplenya.com if you're interested in some Leny.A pieces. Enjoy! :)

my affair

If I cheat it's with home decor and Jonathan Adler!
My taste in home decor and fashion has been gearing to cleaner
cuts, colors and shapes. Black and white are at the top of my list.
I love the 2 mirrors above and I would love them together on a
wall with even more mirrors in different shapes and sizes.

I like the pairing of the 2 similar lamps in 2 sizes and the geometric
lamp on the right. I like geometric shapes in the home and gold and
silver in small details can still be tasteful if done the right way.

The owl is very cute and it has been quite a trend in home decor. I
think it has personality and the hand means LOVE, I think it adds
warmth.
I've had my eye on these pillows for a long time.  Only problem is if I buy them
all I won't be able to pay my rent lol. I think they personalize your home.  My
favorites are the initials and I saw them on Giuliana and Bill Rancic's home
and loved them even more. I like modern decor, but not when it's too cold. I
think small details warm up your home and give it personality.

Again with the geometric shapes, I love the black and white
wallpaper and the print and color of the rug. I always go for
cool colors.I'm not big on beige or red for the home. I tend to go
for shades of gray, green and blue.

These jars are pretty funny, they have a lot of different names.
These are just a few I thought were cute. The tic tac toe also
has some personality and I think they are all great gifts!

you're the one that I want

This is officially one of my favorite outfits! For one it has
a 1950's feel, which is one of my favorite decades for fashion!
And the skirt is from my line :)
I always thought of this skirt as a dressier piece (which it's also perfect for),
but I started playing with it and I love it as a casual, weekend outfit.
Sometimes we tend to save some special pieces for a "special occassion".
Don't do that! Wear your clothes, they are meant to be worn! :)

Top: Theory
Skirt: Leny.A
Flats: Steve Madden
Necklace: Nordstrom
Clutch: Aldo

simplicity rules

Sometimes the simplest of pieces styled the right way
can pull off the most looks. I've mentioned before how
much I love white tanks and how I think they are an
essential piece! You should own at least 3 you can
rotate because they can be used in so many ways!

Pearls: A mix of Forever 21 and Express
Watch: Michael Kors
Cami: Mossimo by Target (only $9.00)
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Bakers
Clutch: Forever21

Another thing I wanted to mention is this lipstick. I am so in love with the shade
of red and the texture and finish of it. I love that it has the right amount of orange
and how matte it is. It also lasts forever! I highly recommend it!
Lipstick: Ruby Woo by MAC

 Have a great week!
XOXO!

christmas came early! ;)

I ended up getting the Viktoree Pumps, the Sequin top from Zara and
the Lace Blouse in 2 colors with the exposed zipper from Zara as well.

I recommend all these pieces!
The shoes make your legs look fabulous and long!

These lace blouses look so chic and elegant. I love them tucked into
something high waisted or tucked out for a casual look. I think I may
wear them with a pencil skirt for Christmas Eve!

The sequin top is great for New Years, but I need to play with it.
Looks coming soon!

Make lists of all the things you want! In fashion and in life. The universe listens so
put out positivity and do good and the rest will take care of itself!

XOXO!

excited to share more!

I'm so excited about Leny.A I just can't keep it to  myself!
Here are some more images of the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection!
Leny.A's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection was inspired by an effortless sexyness.
It's a line for the woman who doesn't try too hard because she knows she doesn't need to!
That is my philosophy and I try to go by it every time I  get dressed.
I hope you love it as much as I do!
The Spring/Summer 2012 Collection will be on sale online early next year as
well as local boutiques!
XOXO!

holiday wish list...

I've been wanting a couple of pieces for a
while now and what better time than the
Holidays to make my list! Maybe Santa
will bring me some! ;)

CUFF NECKLACE: Looking through youtube I came across
this blogger/jewelry designer and her pieces are totally my
style. This is one of my favorite pieces from the collection.
At $50.00 it's pretty worth it and it has the right touch of classic
and trendy so you can get a lot of use out of it!

This TFNC Pencil Midi Skirt has been
on my list since I posted Kim's look, which
she wore with a bright yellow top. It's the perfect
length and I love the panel detailing. Thanks
Johanna for pointing it out! :)
$52.11- Size Small

I tend to go for more toned down classic pieces, but I think
this bag is adorable! It looks even cuter in person. It's a fun
piece to have and I think moschino is definitely doing a come
back. This is from the Cheap&Chic collection, but they have
beautiful bags from their regular line. It's a pretty large bag.
At bloomingdales it was $295 and the moschino web site has
one for $225, but it looks like a smaller version.

This belt is a classic piece that  could seem a little gotti
because of the bold, gold metal inserted logo. However, if it's vintage
it's not gotti! lol... It's $295 at the online store, but I've seen it between
$180 and $250 on ebay.

This silk lace top is a versatile piece you can dress up or
down. I love the Dusty Pink, but I tried on the Black and
it's very nice! The exposed zipper with the low back gives
it a more modern touch. I love it with tucked into a pencial
skirt or with jeans...and a nude bra underneath should do! ;)
Only $39.00-Medium

www.zara.com
This Semitransparent top with dots may look a little granny in the way it's
styled here, but I think it's a very feminine blouse that styled correctly can be
even sexy. $79.00 Small
The ecru colored blouse with black combined flap is a good basic to have. I tried
it on and it's great for work, but it also works with some skinny jeans or even dressy
 shorts . $59.90 Small
(I have a wide upper body and the Medium was a little big, so these don't run small)

 www.zara.com
As you can see I could just replace my entire wardrobe with Zara. I
really just love EVERYHING! I could post images forever, but I'll stick
with my favorites. What I love about this top is that the sequins look more
like beads. The fabric is super light weight so it comes closer to your
body intead of looking boxy! It's great for the holidays, but I love it for
Spring/Summer as well. I would wear it with shorts or skinnys.
$89.00-Small

This tulip dresses are to die for. I LOVE the silhouette!
The tweed one to the right looks beautiful in person. The
tweed fabric has some silver threads in it. It's perfect for
Christmas or NYE. It honestly doesn't look great on the
model, it's a good shape for a curvy girl. The blue is easier
to wear day to day, it's a bit more clasual, but I could see
the tweed one worn to work under a fitted black blazer.
Only $99.90. The consruction and fit is amazing so I expected
it to be a little more expensive. My problem is I'm one size
on top and one on the bottom so I would have to get a Small
and let it out on the bust a bit or a Medium and take it in at the
waist :/.

This is similar to the tulip dress, except I think
the skirt is fuller. This dress is screaming for a
RED lip!  I would wear it with a peep toe, pump,
or Mary Jane. I think it doesn't work with sandals
like the ones in this picture. $159.00 Small.

www.stevemadden.com
Viktoree Mary Janes.
Mary Janes are classic, but these are like 100 feet tall.
They are similar to the Louboutins Kim K. has been wearing
lately, except you don't need to sell a kidney to buy them!
But who am I kidding...I would totally sell a kidney for those
shoes! lol. So if I get these and the green skirt I can re-create her
look for less, I would just need the yellow blouse, which shouldn't
be so hard to find! $129.95 Size 6.5

SO THIS IS IT...KINDA. I'M SURE THE LIST WILL KEEP GROWING.
Price and sizes listed so Santa gets it right! lol
